The majority of Swatch group's profits come from high-end brands bought by wealthy individuals as jewellery and kept for generations. For this reason, the AppleWatch, a fuctional device that will become outdated in 3-4 years, is targeting a different user base and will have an immaterial affect on most brands within Swatch group. The group, however, is vulnerable if China goes into a prolonged recession, as it is very popular there. I don't know what will happen with macroeconomic events, but I do know that Swatch Group is a wonderful company at a very fair price,
