Totally contrarian pick right now since this solid smaller player is off more than 40% in just 7 months. My own horse sense is that oil isn't below $50 two years from now -- seems more likely to me to be (making this up!) $70. That will bring back good profitability to Vermilion. In the end, a lot of this investment -- like others of its ilk -- is a speculation on the value of a commodity (albeit really visible and important ones), oil & gas. Outperform.
